DAY 9

Something you’re proud of in the past few days

HMM.. I just bought something that would benefit me a lot yesterday.. *drum rolls*

A portable DVD player.

Well, since we don't have cable in the apartment and we can't get a signal for the regular channel, I loaned my small-almost-broken tv to my friend. Kaysa naman pakalat kalat sa bahay..

For almost 2 years of renting, I have come to realize that I was able to buy a lot of things na pala. I have my sofa, a dinning set, ref (thanks credit card), cabinet for clothes, a comfy kutson for a bed, electricfans (the other one is busted pa kase.. mental note: have it fixed!), shoe racks, small cabinet.. the list could actually go on.. and on..

Thanks to my friends na nag benta nang mga stuff at a very reasonable price (they moved and they were disposing a couple of things).

I have to say, I am pretty proud of myself. I did not splurge my earnings buying buckets of beer and partying.. and stuff that I don't really need.. high five JAM!

DAY 8

Short term goals for this month and why

Well, for the month my plan is to save part of my salary for my upcoming CDO trip. I really need to save because I have to buy my siblings stuff for school. So for the meantime no restos and shopping nang bongga muna.. tiis tiis muna nang onte..

DAY 7

A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you

It's my grandfather.. I don't have a picture of him though. He died when I was 11 years old. He was the one who took care of me when I was young. I am a certified lolo's girl.  He was a soldier. I once asked my lola what made her like my lolo, she said "HE-MAN".. hehe (macho si daddy back then).. He was a disciplinarian and a spoiler at the same time. He was may shield..My daddy..

One thing I regret was when he got sick and I was not able to take care of him ( I was young then and a bit of a rebel).. I'm sorry dad.. It's been 15 years or more since he died and I still miss him.. everyday.. *sniff*
