This is my life..part II

Moving back to Manila means I am going to stay with my Mom and my stepfather. Its a big change for me because first I am not close to my mom and second I don't like my stepfather. They rented a small room with two beds, one for me and the other for them. I didn't like the idea at first, but I had no choice.

I became friends with the kids in my neighborhood and we would spend hours playing basketball, volleyball and street games. I hated school though; I practically drag myself to school everyday. Well most of the kids there were classmates since elementary so the newbies were always picked on, that includes me. Not to mention that I came from CDO, so they all think that I was a probinsyana. Non stop teasing and bullying. FRKS (Fucking rich kids).

One funny experience I remembered was when I befriended a Sophie because she wanted to meet my seatmate (her friend had a huge crush on her). Since I had no idea what a lesbian looks like, I thought she just likes wearing baggy clothes. But when I saw her friend and another girl kissing, I was like "No way" is that possible? For an innocent probinsyana girl like me, that was something. I must say, that was my 1st lesbian encounter. Ha ha!

During my sophomore year, I was transferred to a different school. It was easy for me to fit in because everybody was nice and warm. No more bullies and bitches. Ho ray!I played basketball and volleyball for the school. Joined the cheering squad.participated in every activity.I even became a choir member!School was F-U-N. Well, except for the projects, reports, quizzes and exams. ha ha!

During my high school days mom got pregnant. At first, I was irritated because they didnt tell me that I was finally going to be an ATE. I was hurt because I knew that i wasn't going to be the center of attention anymore. I was jealous. But when Alexandra came into our life, I was overjoyed. She was so cute and so smart. A year after, mom gave birth to Gabriela. She was very pretty and adorable too. From being the only child, we became "the tres marias".

Our life was pretty much changing too. We had to cut expenses because of gabby and Alex. That means no more expensive shoes and clothing. No more trip to McDonald whenever I feel like eating spaghetti or burger. I have to admit that it was hard at first but I have to force myself to cope with the changes that's happening and be contented with what they give me.

High school life was ending, everybody became busy. School works, reviews etc. While everybody was busy studying for their UPCAT, I was still looking for a school where I can send my college application.I tried UST, failed to get the course that I want. I tried St. Joseph's College, got in and got the course that I really really liked.AB MASS COMMUNICATION. love it!

We all bid goodbye to our teachers and friends. Grad pics and diplomas were already given to us. Yearbooks signed and tears are all dried up. Next stop, college life...

To be continued...
