Last Saturday after my shift, I told my gf that I wanted to go to Cubao Expo. All along she thought that I wanted to buy a pair of sandals. I explained to her that I just wanted to walk around and check out the stores selling vintage stuff.
It was
So, we walked hand in hand as we entered Cubao Xpo. Some of the shops were close or are no longer operational( I was not sure). I started going inside the thrift shops. Cool! I told myself. Ang daming gamet! Cameras, telephones, pictures, bags, glasses, books, magazines..even bottles! Huwaaaw!Astig... Ang daming mga bagay na familiar sa paningin ko....It brought back childhood memories..
I wanted to eat at Bellini's, however, upon checking the resto I assumed that It was fine dinning because of its set up. Cant afford, maybe next time.
So, after a couple of hours my gf and I decided to go to alimall. Man, the place really changed. It was.. better! I was able to buy a dress for 399 pesos. My gf commented that she doesn't like the style, but i didn't listen to her. Im the one who's gonna wear it anyways! We also went to SM and I bought a pair of lavender sandals for only 399 pesos(Take note Figlia pa sya). But it took me like an hour or so to find that pair!
My gf who was very patient the whole time told me that her feet already hurts (poor gah). After I paid for my merchandise, we headed back to alimall to eat. We settled in Savory and ordered 1/2 chicken, 2 cups of rice, pancit and squid(package B). The food was satisfying and It only cost 385 pesos, not bad eh!
We smoked a couple of cigarettes before we decided to go home. I was too tired to even speak. Traffic, too bad nakakabadtrip. We got home almost 9 pm. Exhausted as ever but happy. It was a great experience and I am planning to go back to Cubao. I am hoping more shops will be open when I go back there(cross fingers).
I was able to take some pics but since I am blogging here in the office, I have no way of transferring the pics from my cp to the pc. Sa FB na lang..
