Talking..you and me..

I'm lying next to you,

my head resting on your left shoulder.

I listen to you as you tell me what you did today.

Your laughter is contagious,

Your eyes sparkle as you speak,

telling me how good you are in playing pusoy,

and that you beat everybody.

You also told me about your dream,

how bad it was.

I started to close my eyes but I was still listening to you,

Well, half of my mind was about to doze off to wonderland.

I started to giggle as you continued narrating your bad dream,

Emphasizing that we broke up and I was making a fool out of you.

You teased me by counting the mistakes that I did to you,

I opened my eyes and said "baliw ka? paranoid ka lang.Gusto mo ako naman magbilang?".

I then started venting out,

the things I did at work,

I poured out my disappointments and frustrations.

I reminded you of your promises.

my mood suddenly changed,

I rolled my eyes and then turned my back at you.

You held my hand and drew me close to you.

You hugged me and told me you remember all your promises,

and that I have to wait more.

I just sighed and told you I already heard that before.

But somehow, despite the broken promises,

I still believed in you.

I still gave you the chance that your asking.

I may not be the most sweetest girl you've been with.

You may not be the person I thought you were.

I love you, you love me.

I guess that's enough for now.
